That the generation to come might know… Psalm 78:6
The purpose of the Atlantic District United Pentecostal Church Historical Division is to preserve the many aspects of our rich heritage so that we will remember and that the generations to come might know.
In the interest of preserving our Pentecostal history and being able to share it with others also, the Atlantic District UPC has opened “The Heritage Room”. This room contains many artifacts, pictures, and memorabilia from our past. A complete set of our District papers, Bible college yearbooks, several books, and Bibles from our pioneers are displayed. The Heritage Room is located on the lower level of the Northeast Christian College, 128 River Street in Fredericton, New Brunswick and is open to the public upon request.
We are celebrating 100 years of the Jesus Name Pentecostal message! We are interested in obtaining pioneer stories or photographs and any items that you feel would be of historical significance to the Atlantic District. If you have something you would like to donate to this room, please contact me.
If you would like to make a monetary donation to The Heritage Room in memory or honour of someone, please send your donation to the Atlantic District UPCI, c/o Stephen Tompkins, Box 862, McAdam, NB, E6J 2C1
Your donation will be recorded in the Heritage Memorial Book which is always on display.
In addition, a donation of $250.00 would also provide a quarter page written memorial; $500.00 donation provides a half page written memorial and $1000.00 will provide a full page written memorial. These written memorials are contained in a Heritage Memorial book which is also on display.
