Reverend Euliss McKeen was born and raised in New Brunswick and credits Brother Earl Jacques and Brother Harvey McNair with having left an indelible imprint on his life and ministry.
Feeling the call to the ministry, Brother McKeen, enrolled at United Pentecostal Bible Institute (now known as Northeast Christian College) in Fredericton, New Brunswick and graduated in 1959. In the fall of the same year, Brother McKeen accepted his first pastorate in Durham Bridge, New Brunswick. And in 1963, he became an ordained minister in the Atlantic District of the United Pentecostal Church International.
Bro. McKeen was married in September 1962 to Doreen Johnson, who faithfully served by his side in various ministry capacities. They were blessed with three daughters and 4 grandchildren. The McKeen’s pastored for forty-six years in nine churches which included cities and towns in the Northeastern United States, Western Canada, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick.
In addition to his calling as a pastor, Brother McKeen has willingly accepted and ably performed many district responsibilities, having been a member of the Atlantic District Board for twenty-seven years. Brother McKeen continues to serve as an honorary member of the Atlantic District Board.
