Julie Long was raised in Pakistan by her missionary parents, Garry and Susan Tracy. She later graduated with honors in suburban St. Louis, Missouri. With a heart for ministry, Julie abandoned secular ambitions to pursue a higher calling completing theological studies at Northeast Christian College and Urshan College. She has served beside her husband, Peter, as associates in missions and in ministry roles on both sides of the US/Canada border.
Julie’s aptitude for administration led to positions with Global Missions UPCI and as administrative assistant to the Atlantic District Superintendent. Since 2002, Julie has served as a writer and website administrator of moretolifetoday.com which features Bible studies and evangelism tools for women endorsed by Ladies Ministries UPCI.
She is a writer who would rather read; a speaker who would rather listen; a determined mother of two by day; and a graphic and web designer by night. She shares a joyful life with her family – Peter, Tyler (2001), Madison (2007) in beautiful northeastern New Brunswick where they pastor the Pentecostals of Miramichi. Julie has served Atlantic District Ladies Ministries as the secretary (2004-2012) and now as president (2012 – Present).
