Following his graduation from Northeast Christian College (formerly known as United Pentecostal Bible Institute) in 1985, Brother Tompkins assisted in the churches in Miramichi (Chatham) and Centreville for three years.
In 1987 he was married to Deborah Locke and lived in Lakeville, NB for two years. In 1988, the Tompkins accepted their first pastorate in Four Falls where they led the church for 5 1/2 years while continuing to work full time at Day & Ross Inc. In 1994, the Tompkins family moved to Ripples and entered into full-time pastoral ministry. Brother and Sister Tompkins currently pastor in McAdam, NB at Voice of Pentecost Church.
Brother Tompkins has served as Sunday School Secretary, Bible College instructor and district board member and presently as the Finance Committee Chairman and District Secretary.
